Boats of every variety are the favorite toys of boys and men.  The smallest suggestion will entice any aged male onto boats of every description. Truth is, whether bateaux or three-masted sloop, they all capture the hearts and dreams of men the world over, transforming even the meekest male into a Captain Hook aboard his own vessel. For some, buying boats means at least two happy days in a man’s life; the day the boat is purchased and the day it is sold to upgrade to a bigger, faster, sleeker one!   

It’s important to understand that, if married, your choice of boats will determine who gets to enjoy the bright sun and blue sky!  Do you want solo time fishing? Better choose one small enough to make it very uncomfortable for two!  Women can be just as enthralled owning a boat as men. 

A wife can be a great second mate and, for those who go for long sea voyages, you will discover a special level of companionship unequalled on land. With life and death at the whim of Mother Nature, this is no place for the casually-committed couple. Just make sure you both have training in handling your boat on the high seas, first. There’s no question that boats are the favorite toys of men and boys, but these toys can definitely turn a boy into quite a man.
